Chronic Disease Management

The practice nurse, in conjunction with the doctors, runs specialised clinics for the following:

• Asthma
• Chronic Heart Disease
• Diabetes
• Asthma
• Hypertension

Other Services

In addition we provide the following services at regular intervals. These are by appointment only.

Minor Surgery

We do offer joint injections after discussion with the GP who will arrange with you a suitable time and date.

Baby Clinics

These clinics are held to ensure the well-being and development of your child.

Immunisation

The practice nurse runs regular immunisation sessions. The practice strongly recommends that you have all your necessary immunisations and boosters. People over 65 will be invited for a yearly influenza and pneumococcal vaccine when due. These will also be offered to patients with certain chronic conditions.

Family Planning

A full family planning service is available. We also run well woman checks. This is run by our female doctor and practice nurse.

The fitting of coils and contraceptive injections are undertaken in this clinic after speaking to a clinician.

Emergency Contraception

You must seek advice from our doctors within 72 hours. Please tell the receptionist when you contact us.
